How to Upgrade from Free Member to Rep.
Your Free Members have signed
up to HPP with a Username and Password. This means they have
a HomePagePays
website. However, they also have a SmartMediaTechnologies.com (SMT) and
GoSmartMedia.com (GSM) website with the same username and password.
Of course, because they are not
a Representative, they cannot register anyone from their
SmartMediaTechnologies.com and GoSmartMedia.com websites unless they upgrade.
VERY IMPORTANT: If they try
to upgrade from YOUR SMT website by clicking on the “Join” tab, they will NOT
be able to get the username they selected as a Free Member.
The system naturally says the
“username is already taken”.
Your Free Member needs to go
to the SMT website, click the
“LOGIN” tab and enter their Username and
Password.
Here is a direct link to the
login page, although they can go to your website
as long as they click “Login”:

Once they have logged in, they see this page,
where they register and make their payment.
There will be a link in HPP for
Free Members to upgrade but this still needs programming.

Please Note: If Free Member
(Sue) was originally referred by another Free
Member (John), who has upgraded
to Rep. and then Sue also wants to upgrade
too, what does Sue do if she wants
to be sponsored by John?
Sue simply goes to John’s SMT website, clicks the “Join” tab
and registers. Sue will have to select another username because when she
joined as a Free Member, she was passed up to the original Rep.
